Dannemart “Danne” Pierre, M.S., is a registered mental health counselor intern based out of the greater West Palm Beach area. In 2007, Danne received a B.S. in organizational management from Palm Beach Atlantic University and immediately enrolled in their graduate program, completing her M.S. in counseling psychology in 2010. Her practice motto, “therapy happens”, is based on cognitive-behavioral and family systems approaches to counseling and emphasize the healing properties of all of life’s events. Danne specializes in issues pertaining to emerging adults, transitions in life, relationships, grief and trauma, body image, and faith. She also provides group therapy, coaching, Couple Communication, and Prepare/Enrich assessments.

In addition to her private practice, Danne serves as an adjunct professor of psychology at Palm Beach Atlantic University. She has also presented at seminars and trainings on grief and trauma; and in 2010, traveled to Haiti with a group of graduate students to provide counseling and training to earthquake survivors. In her spare time, she works as a freelance writer and photographer.
